Floor Cloths

My floor cloths are painted on canvas that has been stretched, then primed with 3 coats of latex paint on the front side, 1 coat on the back. The picture is then painted on the canvas, then the edges are turned under and glued. After this the floor cloth is given 3 coats of polyurethane varnish on the top side and one on the bottom. This is a very long process but a lot of fun to do. This is a craft that had its beginning when houses in this country had dirt floors, but you can look on the Internet and find the history of floor cloths goes very far back in time. Price for floor cloths is $15 per square foot plus shipping, and at this time I only paint floor cloths up to 3' x 5'. I have no room to work on larger ones. Have a painting made for your floor.
